newgrounds has seriously helped me with a lot of my creative block, this place is fuckin great. its wonderful to not have some sort of algorithm forcefeed you ""content"", its wonderful to see creative people post without having to consider what may gain more views and likes, making sure their work reaches the right audience in an uphill battle of pleasing an algorithm that doesnt value artists! i browse the art portal most, occasionally the games or movies portal and its always fun and inspires me, i never leave this site with a sense of "ugh my day would be better without seeing/hearing that" like i would on some mainstream social media site (of course thats not the case all the time 4 everyone bla bla bla im not trying to nob ride newgrounds TOO hard i promise ) i leave with a sense of "what this person created is awesome! i wanna make stuff like that too!"

point is; its refreshing =) i love seeing others create and share what they make. its neat.
